Pacific Electric: the new 750-cap music room by Chinatown

Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons opened a renovated brick warehouse on Naud Street in March 2026, with L-Acoustics sound, a garden courtyard and a secret Indian food window. Here is what to know before your first show.

Pacific Electric opened on March 19, 2026, with a private Dawes show, in a renovated brick warehouse at 1729 Naud Street, just past Chinatown. It holds 750 standing across a ground floor and a balcony. It is the first Los Angeles room from tvg Hospitality, the company Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett founded in 2016, and its general manager, Stacey Levine, came from the Wiltern and the Hollywood Palladium.

It sits between the clubs and the theaters, a size that suits underplays, club nights and comedy. Since opening it has hosted Norah Jones, Kim Gordon, Voxtrot, Pomplamoose and a run of Netflix Is A Joke Fest sets.
